Overview
Casa Cantera Bucerias is an elegant mini estate located within walking distance to popular restaurants, local shops, grocery store and beaches. Exquisite Mexican Cantera Stone inside & out combines both a traditional style with all of the modern conveniences.
The living & dining room is open to the large chef's kitchen, perfect for friend and family gatherings. Double doors from the kitchen lead out to a spacious covered patio and outdoor kitchen with built in charcoal grill. The private backyard oasis features a wrap around pool, outdoor shower, lounging area & beautiful tropical landscaping. Upstairs has a sitting area, deck and 4 large bedrooms, each with their very own full ensuite bathroom.
Arguably the nicest spot of the home is the covered rooftop terrace with panoramic views of Bucerias & the Bay of Banderas. A perfect getaway during the day to read and relax in the hammocks and for enjoying the breathtaking evening sunsets.
Bucerias is only a short 25 minute drive from the PVR Airport and is close to the town of Puerto Vallarta and the many quaint and interesting towns, fishing villages and beaches located nearby.

Casa Cantera is a 30 min drive from the International Airport in Puerto Vallarta. The house is gorgeous! Our bedroom had a comfortable king size bed with its own ensuite bathroom. The kitchen is well equipped and the outside area with the pool is just heavenly. Before going out for dinner, we enjoyed sitting up on the rooftop terrace and watching the sunset in the Bay of Banderas. The house is a short walk away from the beach, chairs and umbrellas are available and easy to carry. Also within walking distance are banks, grocery stores, good restaurants and the hospital (for COVID testing). We can’t wait to go back there again!

A Definite 5 STAR *****
We spent a beautiful 14 days at Casa Cantera with friends and family! The house has all the comforts of home very spacious with a well-appointed kitchen making meals a breeze. We loved the outdoor dining area lounge chairs by the pool. So, relaxing with the option to sit in the sun or shade. The bedrooms all have private ensuite baths no fighting over who gets the best room they are all great with Very comfy beds! We couldn’t ask for a better location, a few minutes’ walk to the beach where we spent hours enjoying the perfect weather, whale watching almost every day we were there, beautiful sandy beach for long walks and enjoying the ocean. The restaurants in the area are so good all within walking distance, Taco’s on the Rim was a favorite and so economical right in town, so much fun great bars with great bands. I could go on and on. We did a few day trips to La Cruz Sunday market, a gorgeous beach nick-named Maui beach. We hadn’t been to Bucerias in over 20 years, Julie was very helpful with planning and area information. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with our family, we truly had a wonderful time and can’t wait to go back!

Had an amazing week at Casa Cantera Bucerias and have already booked for next year!! Such a quaint and truly Mexican home but with all the fabulous amenities I want in a vacation. Each of the four bedrooms has its own bathroom, the kitchen allowed all five of us women to chef together easily and then we relaxed with drinks by the beautiful pool in the private back yard. All this and a block and a half from the beach with incredible bars, live entertainment and loads of shopping within a short walk. So looking forward to two weeks next year!!

LOCATION, LOCATION
- Casa Cantera is located in the Golden Zone of Bucerias, only 2 blocks from the beach on the Bay of Bandaris as well as popular local restaurants, all within walking distance
- Bucerias, Nayarit, is located only 25 minutes from Puerto Vallarta Airport
- There are several quaint towns within an easy cab or bus ride from Bucerias - La Cruz, Punta Mita, Sayulita, San Pancho. Small towns a little further away but are worth checking out include La Penita, Rincon Guayabitos, Mismaloya, San Sebastian. If a busier city is what you are after, the city of Puerto Vallarta is only a 35 minute cab ride to the malecon.

Julie & Kevin Rowat are pleased to own another short term rental. And more thrilled that the home is located in Bucerias, Mexico.
The couple originally came to the town of Bucerias in 2009. They have come back every year to enjoy the beautiful beaches, surrounding towns, consistent sunny weather and most of all, the local people.
Julie & Kevin have been seriously looking at purchasing for over 3 years. Finally, in September 2021, Casa Cantera came on their radar and in December of 2021, they were able to finally call it their own.
Hoping to one day retire 1/2 the year in Bucerias and 1/2 the year in Kelowna, BC, they hope that in the meantime, people can enjoy their home as much as they do.
